fuel plate and gsk spring install problem

Ok so i installed my 3k gsk springs and my #10 fuel plate! ran it for a little and no smoke so i turned the star wheel towards the motor all the way and still no smoke! egt seem to go high quick and i am pushing about 35 psi of boost. Did i do something wrong? the truck runs like a champ and seems like it has good power more then it did before. I set the plate the same spot it was stock!
thanks
Eric

Do you have an egt and boost gauge yet? If not, back off the star wheel, and take it easy till you get them installed.

I got the gsk fro tnt diesel!

Yes i do have a pyro and boost and fuel pressure guage!

I thought this thing should be blowing smoke! but it is not!

T toke it for a good ride and got into it a couple times and the pyro guage never went pass 9.5! and tha was pushing it hard real hard when it got that high!

Are you sure you have good fuel pressure? 32-35 at WOT.

According to you're EGT's at 9.5, you're not getting enough fuel. Is you're probe pre or post turbo? What's fuel pressure at and is the fuel press gauge pre or post filter?

Plate ground and full forward I assume.

Is the lever going under your plate?

the probe is before the turbo! the fuel pressure is after the filter!
The afc is set all the way towards the back of the motor and the fuel plate is set in the stock location?

AFC to the rear of the pump is your issue. Push it forward for more fuel.

AFC housing is set all the way to the rear? Yep, that'd be the problem

All the way.
600-700° while cruising
Your clutch won't last if stock.

My 95 sees 600 deg pyro at 65 mph and 1100 temps with the petal down. The 10 plate is in the stock position and I have installed the 3000 gs. I have never had the pyro go over 1100 towing my fiver. I have given some thought to moving the 10 plate forward some to see what happens, just have to get time to get at it . Truck pulls nice , not a race truck but no were near as laze as stock was.

Mine will cruise at right around 600, temps will go as high as I want when flooring it / pulling heavy. Truck has a #100 plate & 3k GSK.
