Fuel lines from tank.

I have a 95 donor that I'm using for my CrewCab swap, and my fuel lines from the tank to the motor are both too short AND rusty. Can I just use the same sized steel/aluminum tubing, with rubber hoses and standard hose clamps at the ends, or I need to go to the dealer and order new suction and return line assemblies? Are they the same as a gas truck (maybe the V10)? I've seen a few V10's, a lot of V8's and zero Cummins trucks in the junkyards.

Nothing fancy is required, lots of guys have used marine rated hose for supply and return, tank to pump, with good results. Stock is 3/8 supply, 5/16 return.
