Front Axle Maintenance
Dummy question here..Speaking of front axles, on the '96 4x4's what maintenance needs to be done to 'em ? I've got 135,000 and ain't gave 'em a bit of TLC. Does it have needle roller bearings or anything that needs repacked ?

Just change the diff oil. The outer bearings are sealed units so there are no hubs to grease. If it breaks and you go inside then change hard parts like ball joints, seals and U joints when they are easily accesible.
