Ford cummins swap

Ford cummins swap
I have a customer who has a VERY solid 76 3/4 ton ford high boy. He want to put a cummins in it.
I have an adapter plate that was on my 4bt cummins. Will that adapter plate work on his tranny? He has a 360 big block in the truck now, and he wants me to put 3:08 gears in his ford to keep his tranny and divorsed t case. DONT ASK ME WHY!! He has a nice 93 dodge with a getrag in it that just needs rebuilt.
So I guess will the flywheel and adapter I have work on his ford tranny?
If not is there a company who sells the adapter?
Thanks guys

fords are odd, they have a few different bellhousing bolt patterns, windsors wont bolt to a big block tranny, and they had a few different breeds of big blocks and i am not sure if they are all the same patten or not..

Oh well, Dodge adapters and bellhousings are cheaper by far than the Ford adapter.
Good reason to forget the gear swap and just put a 5 speed in.

A friend of mine has a rare VP44 (its actually a cummins style electric fuel system that looks like a vp44) 12 valve and a AT545 stuffed into a gas 1988 F350 with 355 gears. Pretty nice ride and one heck of a rare engine

Tons of info and part sources here. I had a 4bt with a Ford tranny. I think it only works with a mid 90s half ton 5 speeds. Check that site they will get you in the right direction.
