I had to get my 97 towed a few months ago and when they pulled it up on the flat bed they put the hooks on the front axle. I can't get the 4wd shifter to move now. I wonder I this is caused by the way they pulled it? He tried the bumper mounts first and bent them all to hell then he threw the hooks on the axle. I told him not to do that but he did anyway. Now I'm thinking this is why my cad isnt working also. Any thoughts?

 

Check to see if the vacuum lines are still hooked up.
