experts on o rings on rebuild

......ok, I have a rebuild "kit" from a pulling shop, that cane with a bunch of cummins genuine parts. I have some orings that dont have anyplace to go. I have the service manual, and it doesnt help.

I have 1 that is about 7 to 8 inches across, and the only place it even gets close to fitting is on the outside of the rear crank seal housing? Like a dust seal, between the belhousing adapter and the rear main seal puter housing? It didnt have anything there when I took it apart, but is that where it goes?

I also have one at about 5 inches, dont have a clue on it yet, (already used the one for teh water pump.

Over all I ve triple checked everything, and the engine looks perfect but I dont want to put it together to have to pull something apart cause of a leak.

Call the folks who supplied the kit.

Ya reckon that 7" ~ 8" O-ring is for the turbocharger's compressor housing?

If it's a square one .. it is for the rear crank seal housing ... not used in Dodge applications
