Elusive 300 buck billet torque conv....

I was given the website for my torque conv. last year but have lost the link and the paperwork somehow. Does anybody know what Im talking about? I thought it might have been an administrator who gave me the info. I do know they had the cheapest billet on the market at the time. 300 bucks.

I forget the actual price, but last year I got a billet front converter from Trans Star (might be transtar), it was in that ballpark for price. Had a lower stall, and pretty high ratings as far as power, if only the rest of the tranny held up! Part # was CR70X I believe.

Found it. ARI industries out of alabama. I paid 399 last year for my 98'. Its not triple disc but billet parts nonetheless. I just bought another for my 91.5. Cost me the same because I bought the valvebody upgrade kit also. But they have it listed for 445.00 and shipping was about 61.00. My 98' is still extremely responsive and the conv. is still holding up after I have beat on it mercilessly. I would recommend their torquer to anyone. They seem like a small operation, but are extremely polite, return phone calls, and answer all questions (even stupid ones) their phone number is 866-753-0808 website is www.ariindustries.net
