Electric Fuel Pump

Hi everyone, I am about to ask a question that I am sure has been answered a million times or so but one more can't hurt. I have searched but can't find any definitive answer. I installed a Fuel Pressure gauge on my newly acquired 02 2500 and I appear to have 5 PSI at idle. So what should I buy for a pump, I am not going to race or anything like that, just a daily driver. I don't want to spend more than I have to to have the fancy name but I will spend what I have to for a reliable pump. I would like a bolt on replacement just for ease of installation but if there is not a reliable bolt on then I will do what is necessary. So any reasonable suggestions? I have looked at the FASS but they all seem to be frame mounted which to me is about the worst place to install anything besides a frame. I would think in the engine bay where it would be a bit more protected from salt and debris would be better but maybe not.

I like the bd lift pump kit (made by carter) it gave a good boost in pressure and was relatively cheap. Best of all it come with EVERYTHING you need to install it. Of course if you want to spend $500 an airdog would be ideal

I've had a FASS on my truck for 4 years and never had a problem. Closer to the tank, the better. Bolt on pumps don't seem to be terribly reliable, the frame mounted ones seem to be the best bet. Or get a mechanical pump. There are several options on that front.
