hey all, deleted the egr on my truck(98). sick of the cel. found a diagram on here but not sure what exactally i need. looks like a 5 prong relay and a 6k ohm 1/4 watt resistor. radio shack doesnt carry those. just wanted to check and make sure that is what i needed.

i believe the egr didnt come into play untill the 6.7

Nate: CA version 96-98 trucks had EGR valves and tubes. Apparently the 97 & 98's also tripped CELs when the tubes were blocked off, (for test purposes), at least my 98 and others did.

awsome. thank you very much. and yes. the california 12 valves had an egr system, and i belive only the 97-98 triped the light. lucky for me i have a early 98 haha
