dyno

Guys there will be a dyno in town here this sat and i`am thinking that I should put my truck on it and see what it does. what do I do ? How do you run on a dyno, what is expected as far as the procedure to run my truck???
never did this before and don`t want to look stupid there this Saturday morning. Thanks Guys

Dyno runs are really just like pulling out to pass on a narrow highway. You get up to direct gear TC lockup and lay into it, not punch it, but lay into it. NO BRAKES on decell. Turn off the AC too, costs about 20 hp..LOL...

Might be different with Cummings..

The dyno operator will go through it with you, or he might be the one driving anyway. In which case, watch as someone else runs your truck.

Well I never was on a dyno and thought there might be some answers out there as to what the procedure is. I guess i`ll try the trailer tow button for 3rd locked and dump the skinny petal, and see what happens. I just added the number 53 wire for lock in every gear. so I will have 4 goes at it, i`am told for my money. I will give the truck a work out and see how this 1995 Ram will pull for numbers. Just so I know lol
