Do I need clutch or hydralic problem? "96"
I have a 96 and it started hard to get the tranny into any gear (ok if you shut off engine) you can put pressure on the shifter say in 2nd or 3rd with the truck not rolling (but truck running) and pump the clutch real fast and it will go in and then you can feel the truck wanting to go!
there is no hydralic leaks and the fluid level is a little low but not bad
any Ideas!
I think the disk is worn and the hydrlics has compinsated all it can! what do you guys think!

Thanks Dart talked to south bend and he is leaning towards hydralic too he has top and bottom master and slave cylinders for 175$ just bolt on! dont even have to add fluid.
I guess no one else has much experience with cluthes here so far

I bought the dodge kit in clinton illinois for $200. Peter said that his hydros were $250 plus shipping. I have bought three from SBC and they go up every time, but they do work so as of now i havn't minded. Tim

Whiteknight, that is a big difference. I just replaced my front wheel hubs and from rockauto.com, they wanted $132 plus 20 shipping. It was the same timken part # minus the chrysler box that chrysler wanted $422. You could check there to see what their price is. Tim
