Did my first hand calc for mpg on the new truck

All I can say is wow and I hope this is correct and shows the same next test. I hand calculated 23.5 in mixed driving! My tiny civic only gets 25 mixed. This is driving like an adult since my tc is going out. I mashed the pedal to the floor one time for about five seconds during this tank to see how much go the truck really has. This is also hauling heavy tools for three days and about an hour of total idleing on jobsites. The truck must have the 3:54 gears and it does have the original 245 tire size on it so Im hoping the speedo/odo is reading correct. I guess I need to do more reading about timing and a possible mpg increase. Not bad for a $3,000 work truck.

Yup, that sounds about right to me too! In my opinion, the old Dodge CTD 12 valves get the BEST mileage of any of the Dodge CTD Pickups! I know that because I have a 1996!
