For that price, buy the kit and do it yourself. If they are experienced, it will take no where near 4 hours to do. 2.1 hours just to verify the old timing? Unless its way out, it shouldn't take that long. It took me and ccmckee about 2 hours to verify his timing, but his was way out at 24 degrees, we checked and rechecked TDC, what the plunger lift was, and what model pump he had on it. If timing is close to what it should be, should be about 15 minutes to verify, and maybe another 45 minutes to set it.
Get the tools, and between DTR and the rest of the net, you'll have enough info on how to do it. And then you can retime your truck when you want, and if you wanted to, make a little money on the side by timing other guys trucks.

ok there was two of them on this. one on top reading the dial indactor, the other on bottom rotating. they did not remove the gear. these boys got there stuff together. if i can find it i'll put there shop number on here. and maby it was longer than 45 minutes but not by much.
