crank sensor interchangability?

I am doing a gas to 12 valve swap, and i have a 99 truck. Im using a 98 12 valve harness, and the crank sensor plug is cut. I need a new one, but was wondering if i could take a crank sensor and plug from another year 12 valve, or if i need the 98 sensor and wiring connector?
thanks

Sensor is listed as 94-98 so I see no reason the wiring would not be the same.

Pretty sure the same sensor was used on most Chrysler vehicles of that vintage.
