hi ,, i feel that my clutch is on it way out , for the past few days , on the start off, the clutch seams like it slapping , so much that it realy ruff on take off, this happens in 1 or 2 gear, at frist i thought it was me , it does not slip, high spots ?? , can oil from the eng or trans get on the clutch and make this happend it has all ways released hight from day one so if any one knows what gives , and should i start looking for a new clutch soon thanks

stock clutch? you could have a couple broken springs in the hub.

ya its a stock one with 116,000 miles on it most of them high way for hours at a time , i did drive it tonight for a bit and i was sitting at a light and i think i can hear a noice down there, so i pushed in the clutch and noice went away , its kind of thump thump in verry low tone, i did not think about broken springs or fingers but thats what its sounding like , new clutch , so what is a good one to get not running a lot of power , one with a smooth take off thanks
