changed fuel filter and prefilter..lots of less smoke?

changed fuel filter and prefilter..lots of less smoke?

Hey all I changed my fuel filter and fuel prefilter and i now get a lot of less smoke out the exhaust..i think less smoke would be less fuel..maybe I introduced air and it is still there..has anyone had this problem before? anyone have any advice on how to fix it thanks in advance for anyones help

If the truck runs, you purged all of the air out of the fuel system. Mine never ever blows smoke, its crystal clear even at WOT for 10 seconds straight. Mine is also bone stock.

Does it run smooth (or as smooth as it did before th filter change)? Did you lose power? When I change something in the fuel system in my truck and I get fuel in the lines, you certainly know it, but it clears it after about 15 seconds or less. If it didn't lose any power, I wouldn't be overly worried.

More air less smoke, sounds like your getting more power and better mileage that way.

with a clogged fuel filter u may have more smoke because it messes with the timing a little and does not get as good of an injection ( bad injection = unburnt fuel = more smoke )
