Central Texas source for O-ringing and questions

Head going to machine shop Monday to get checked and decked if necessary, bet it will be. Need to find a reliable shop that can oring my head in Central Texas.. A few questions I have about oringing: Is it necessary to use a thicker headgasket, what material do I use for the o-ring, and where can I get that material. Thanks, for the help.

Greg, unless your going to ship the head off to someone for an O-Ring I'd say Don M would be the choice......if there was enough business I'd buy an O-Ring tool myself.

I know what you mean Jim. I may just purchase the equipment to do mine, because it seems like nobody does it in this area. Who would have thought it would be this hard to spend money. But if anyone else has other ideas, let them rip.
