Cat Back exhaust - Is it worth the money?

I keep hearing all these claims about eliminating my muffler and putting a 4" system from the cat on back. So I thought I would ask if it is really worth it or not? What can I expect performance and economy wise?
thankyou

try looking at a kit that is turbo back u can still use your cat if regulations require it in your state.I dont think u will be happy with cat back.plus u are still running stock pipe(Down pipe etc)to the cat whats the point i put a 4'' turbo back on my 12v it runs and sounds great the bigger u go the mor mods u should have u dont want your turbo flappin in the wind. you want fast spool up

Above advice is good. Any small diameter pipe in the system will mean restricted exhaust flow.

just go buy 6 feet of 3 inch pipe, the muffler and cat are about 5'10" cut them out in one piece and throw in the shed and you are set
