Cat on 12v

Did Dodge ever put on a cat on the exhaust system during the 12 valve years? One of my buddies was telling me they did but I didnt believe him so I thought somebody on here would know for sure.

Ive never got tested but I hear alot of rumors about emission tests and inspections coming for our diesel trucks in the future. So I am trying to get all the info I can to deal with the system.

they cant do it. if there was no emissions regulations when it was produced they cant later put a regulation on it. if the system thinks about it they will have to find a way around the grandfather clause. you have no worries.

I thought they had resonators. I can deal with those but cats suck on a diesel.

All 12v (except maybe some early 94) have a cat.

I have a catalyst on a 1996 Monaco 32' motorhome with a 5.9L Cummins motor, in my case- it is in the muffler. Go figure.

Nope. My 97 never came with one. ALOT of Cali trucks will have them, and I think the 96-98 have EGR too, Cali emissions of course. Most don't have a cat though.

My 98 12v did and it was my understanding all the 12v did?
I don't think any of the VP trucks got them though?
