bucking: recall issue or fueling?

my truck bucks under light acceleration. i thought that i read somewhere here that there was a recall on a linkage problem with 94's and 95's. or can this be a fueling problem from low pressure or leaks.

if its the recall, will dodge still replace it (for free)?

if its fueling, what is usually the culprit? and how do i diagnose?
thanks

Usually bucking is caused by a broken or disconnected throttle return spring. There are two of them, one inside the other. A hardware store spring will work.

If your truck hasn't had the linkage/cable recall it should.
Check recalls here, you will need your VIN http://www.dodge.com/webselfservice/...m('R')

and also is there a diagram/pic of where those return springs are located? thanks!

Exactly how could I have changed the years of the recall???

The first one is a Technical Service Bulletin - and is not a recall. Its DC stating there may be a problem with some trucks and will do a repair to make their customers happy. A Recall generally only affects systems on the truck that are involved with personal/public safety.

And no - these may not apply to you - its up to you to determine if it applies to YOUR truck. Posting for info only.

It could possibly be an aftermarket set of governor speed control springs. Under just the right conditions I get a little bucking with my 3k gsk.
