Brake Drum Replacement?
Hi,
I'm at about 191K on my original rear brakes. I removed the drums (quite a while back) to replace the shoes. Figured it was time.
The shoes in the box had less meat than the ones on the truck. I put the drums back on.
I don't seem to stop as well as I used to and I'm thinking maybe I should go ahead and replace the drums and shoes as well as do that upgrade with the bigger wheel cylinders.
Assuming this is a good idea, who makes the best drums? Raybestos? Wagner? AC Delco? price-wise there is about a $50. difference between the cheapest to the most expensive.
Thanks in advance.
Peter

Turn them?
Thanks for the response but;
I'm thinking that they already are out of spec. Turning them won't do me any good if the holes are too big.
