The motor came out of a 97 2 wheel drive , trans has a tag on it showing it is a Mopar rebuild model R4883742AA Ser jekoo166 Date 289 02, It also has the computer for it I guess its for the trans it has a tag that says software upgrade but I cannot read any of the numbers. The fluid looks very good before I sold it to some one I would want to remove pan with them so they could see what was in it I was told it worked good .Any idea what it is worth?

Can any one tell me what controls the grid heaters. Also will a 6 spd from a 24v bolt up to the 12v motor?

Any one done a 88 to 94 Ford swap? Info would be apreciated.

 

You mean the six spd auto right 68re? And would the computer and shift lever be easy to transfer?

Yes I want a manual trans no autos for me not when towing .Any one have a 12v in front of a zf5spd and tow with it I would like to know if they will stand up to the added power when towing .I am not sure if I should just get the adaptor and use my trans or spend some more and get the 6 spd . If I break mine it would cost more than just getting the 6spd.

 

Fred I just read your sig the mods you have done to your 98 are about what I want to do do you tow? Have you done anything to the motor with the 4K GSK I was thinking it would be a good Idea to add a fluid dampener .I read on another site that at a little above 4k these motors will start to break things from harmonics.Is that right ?

 

I have a 96 dually 5 speed with 500to600 hp .We sled pull it and haul loads on our trailer alot. Went with bigger input shuf and SB DD cluche to handle the HP/TORK.DOSE GREAT.
