Today i found a set of (6) bosch 280hp marine injectors, on craigslist for $150. so i bought them and stoped at the cummins dealer and picked up a set of new o-rings. came home and installed them , maybe just a tiny difference if any. Im pretty sure the injectors that were in there were the stock ones. Is this a normal increase or should i expect more? Thanks

 

My DDP1s didn't make much difference either thy are suposed to be good for 50hp to the wheels. If I drive nice I did get a couple of mpgs.

they will probally flow more fuel with some bigger dvs. i wouldnt suspect any mpg with the marine injector. ddps are extruded and honed to a correct spray pattern, as where the marines are just a bigger hole. I think you will find that your oil will get dirty faster with the marines. thats my understanding anyhow.
