boost controller
I had an idea and maybe its stupid but I thought I would ask, maybe its already been tried.
I have a 1/8" threaded nitrous fitting that the jets go into, I was thinking about putting it in place of the elbow and trying different size jets to adjust the boost going to the wastegate. Stupid or might work?

by just changing the hole size, the boost signal will not be reduced. It will still reach full pressure, but maybe a hair later. The two other methods utilize a spring loaded ball check that succumbs to a preset boost pressure and releases the signal to the wastegate. The other method uses a bleed off valve in the form of a saddle valve on a tee. The saddle valve ports to the engine compartment. The more open the valve is, the more boost is diverted to the open and less signal gets to the gate. My engine uses the bleed type, and even wide open I can overspeed the turbo, so I threaded an allen plug into the boost elbow and drilled it w/ 1/32" hole to restrict the airflow. This forces more out the bleed valve and effectively makes the valve more adjustable....in my case that is.
