Which bomb first?

Hello fellas,

Now that I have put some good time and money into my new truck, (new rotors all around, new Rancho's-9000's (4), air bags, new fuel tank sender--oh boy a working diesel gauge. , bunch of new bulbs, cleaned behind clear dash pod area-dusty, bumped up my idle to 800 or so) I'm finally ready to do some HP modifications. I also ordered a CD with all the pics and diagrams for the truck...very helpfull when diagnosing. I tested the truck yesterday up a 1/2 mi 6% grade with my 4700# camper. I pulled 4Th gear up to 56 mph pretty close to Governor. I would like to do the hill and not push too hard against that governor. ;D I am ordering Autometer Z series gauges for next week. I know how critical the boost and Pyro are. I'm a new owner of three weeks to CTD engines. I'm thinking of a #10 plate and not sure what to do from there. What do you all reccommend about the HP and torque after that? :P

Re:Which bomb first?

I went through this same thing a few weeks ago I put in the fuel plate and then put in the govoner springs the other day and wow what a difference the plate makes a lot more power and the govoner springs lets it rev to 3000 not that you may want to but it lets it fuel better down around 2400 and makes it feel so much snappier that you won't beleave it. I also made a boost fooler which is adjustable and alowed me to turn up my boost right now I am getting 28#'s of boost and of course you want to put your gauges on at the same time so you can tell what is happening

Re:Which bomb first?

Got smoke is right the magic word is clutch. Put in my southbend the other day and wow. First time I've actually felt the power my truck had. Welcome to the gang and enjoy knowing you have the best engine there is under your hood.
