Blowing oil
My 96 12v has started blowing oil out the dipstick tube when it is running above 2000rpm... its enough that it collects on the hood and runs down the fender on the left side? any ideas, it doesnt seem to have any / very little blowby out of the actual vent tube down on the left side.... any ideas appreciated, thanks

Could be a few things:
Blowby tube or the screen inside the engine for it is clogged.
This can happen from extended use of gasser motor oil. Getting at the screen to clean is a major job.
Vacuum leak. The vacuum pump is a compressor that vents into the crankcase and will pressurize it if there is a leak.
Worn out engine that needs rebuilding
O-ring under the dipstick handle is missing or damaged not holding the dipstick in.

Thx, looks like probably a combination of 1 and 3, is a pain to try and get this 12v lined out after driving my 24v for almost a half million miles.. still havent gotton the tach and alt charging again, looks like u were right on the ess sensor, wires are good will put the new one in this afternoon.. then will be back to the original no od problem lol, i dont suppose u have a picture of the inside fuse box lid with fuse locations for this 95?? cant find a fuse blown but everyone keeps saying check fuse #9 thought i would do that while i wait for the sensor to get here, thanks, Wendell
