Best rear end rebuild kit

where is the best place to find a cone type locking rear end for my cummins? im pretty tired of those one wheel peels! I can definatly install this on my own just need to find a kit, and im not able to spend the money on eaton or such!

if you have a dana70 you have lots of options, if you have a dana80 they are more limited, and if you have 3.54 gears even more limited. but here is a few links for you to check out

If you are looking to do this on teh cheap

although i dont reccomend it for our trucks, you can lincoln lock the rear differential. If you arent gettin me, just weld the spider gears together and ud be good to go for a while... If you can find a detroit or a powertrax off of ebay that would work too

thanks, ive thought about welding the gears but id prefer not to. i have the 3:54 gears in the dana 70...
im looking to get something that will stop that one wheel pel because when im in the snow or muddy parking lots hunting, and when im launching the boat down that gravel ramp this thing tends to sink one wheel, and then i have to use 4x4 just to move the truck....

I'd be kinda suprised if you have an open diff. You might check and see if your diff has the factory LSD, if it does then you probably could just order a trac-lock rebuild kit. They aren't the greatest, but it works ok

hmmm, mabe ill have to pull it apart and see whats in there, i have lsd im pretty confident i do because i can occasionally get a two wheels to spin if they break free at higher speeds....
Id definatly like to get a real good posi kit but i have so much going on
