Best place/price for a clutch

I might go ahead and replace the clutch while the trans is out. I havent had any trouble with the OEM unit ever. Ive put over 300K towing on a stocker and never wore one out so I am 90% set on OEM again.

Id appreciate prices and places where to get one.

thanks again.

Are most sticking with OEM, or are they using the 94-98 12.25 clutch? Ive never had a minutes problem from the 13 inch unit pulling heavy loads, but the price is a good bit more. So if the 12.25 units are doing fine then that gives me some additional options.

Peter will not warrenty a 12" clutch that has hauled over 8K lbs on it if it has problems or tears up. He has big warrenty page on his website that stops you before you even get to the Dodge Clutch Catalog.

Im not sure but I talked to woody from south bend and it seemed to me that they dont deal with the 13 in old heavy that he said will shorten the life of the throw out bearing.Im all for finding out who does deal with the 13s as I have 300k on mine and 115 I didnt even put on it I did replace the beaing though at 115kk when I bought the truck with a bad tranny and rebuilt it I was there so I did change the bearing.

Call Keith at Forect City Diesel. He is a SB distributor and an advertiser here on the site. He is in MO and can help you out. His ad appears at the top of the page in the ad space. He put the SB and the FASS on mine and it works very well. Just wish I would have left it at that. The clutch holds better and has less pedal pressure than the stock I think. Don't forget to replace the slave cylinder set up too.
