Barbershop Pole
OK, so I was under my new truck looking around and noticed something peculiar. The drive shaft is painted like a Barbershop Pole. While this really makes it stand out, I am trying to figure out the reasoning for this? Is this unique enough that maybe someone might recognize the truck?

Does that brass pole come with some women? Isn't it dangerous for them to be using it! Just wondering how they would be able to use it under the truck?
ViperSBT,
Someone probably just painted it that color. I have seen drive shafts painted different colors, and the strips look cool while turning. I would trade it for a brass pole though.

The brass pole does not necesarily have to be installed in the driveshaft location (it is entirely customer preferance, also depends greatly on the flexibility of any potential "dancers")
The pole for example can be installed in the bed when the concrete bedliner is poured.

Good point tool, I never thought of that. I always thought that if it didn't serve a purpose then you don't need it. Is the truck still mobile with this concrete bed or not?
