i drilled and tapped mine for a fp gauge a while back and i now have a plug in the tapped hole (no longer using fp gauge) and its leaking out the plug..

would like to just get a new banjo bolt and 2 new gaskets while i'm at it.... where can i get these?

If you remove the guts from an old overflow valve it will work too.

Or, if you have a Cummins parts dealer near by, here are the P/Ns:

Banjo bolt: Cummins 3924725 (M14 x 1.50)
Washers: Cummins 3918192 (14mm)

This is what I used to make a fuel pressure gauge instead of drilling and taping the inlet banjo, the overflow valve already has a hole in it, the snubber I used fit alittle tight but went in fine and does not leak. I am not sure of the differences in the two banjos (if there is any). I only use mine for dianostic only. I check my fuel pressure then remove it and replace the inlet bolt, I don't think it needs tobe monitered on a 12 valve all the time, boost and egts are my main concern.

kinda off the subject here, if I remove the inlet banjo then what is the proper procedure to bleed the IP? just open some injector lines?

I've never had to bleed anything after removing the banjo. The engine may run rough for a few seconds but clears right up.
