In my First Gen (and anything else for that matter), MOOG. only MOOG. Made in the USofA. Expensive, and worth every penny. Used McKay-Norris one time. (CHINA) They were 1/4 the price of the Moog's and lasted an astonishingly short amount of time (less than 15,000 miles) The uppers (2 wd) were so loose they were dangerous. And the uppers are the least loaded! I REFUSE to buy anymore parts not made in North America. (or Germany) Just my 2 cents.

i actually bought AC/Delco and put in my 2WD. Impressive mass. I spent about $80 a piece and so should anyone else with a 2WD.

There are cheap parts, but I cannot afford to use them!

Didn't know they had ball joints for our older trucks. I thought they were for the 3rd gens only...

Spend the money!! Buy Moog!! I'm 2 days younger than dirt and Moog was making front end parts long before I came around. We use Moog on all our stuff with no problems. "You can bankrupt me not buying grease, but you can't bankrupt me buying grease and using it" is a good thought for the day.
