Ball Joint removal tool question

I have all the parts needed to completly rebuild the front end of my truck. I need the ball joint press, I was going to purchase one as I will be doing ball joints on my Jeep pretty soon also.

What is a good brand to buy and where did you guys get it from?

ball joint press tool

otc- 8031 is the kit that covers the dodge trucks and jeeps, all the adapters in one case together- look on fleabay
also a miller tool # c-4212-f is their version of a press tool for the dodges with the dana 60 axels- larger throat and heavier - got mine on fleabay for 65.00 and bought the cups for 115.00
snap on makes one but it is over priced for my amount of usage.
good luck it was a tough job for me, but there are good write ups on site here to help you along

OTC 7249. 85 bucks on Amazon.com. I just used it to put new ball joints and axle u-joints in my 96, as I put F350 steering knuckles on. Works great.
I used to have the Harbor Freight unit, but for 15 bucks more I could get this one, so that's the direction I went.

I used the 8031 tool and it worked great, that said it was 300 bucks but only taking about 45 minutes a side to get the job done made it worth it, if you were closer I would let you borrow it.
