bad joint

I have been hearing a very light clicking the last week on the passenger front tire/hub area. I found my joint behind the bearing going into the axle is bad. It is bad on the axle side. I am assuming the entire axle needs to be replaced is this correct?

Thanks....

Replace the axle joints and you should be fine. Sounds like a u-joint to me

94 you are right. It is a axle u joint. But I have to take the hub assembly and axle out to do the fix. Is that correct?

Thanks displaced. I am thinking about taking it to my friends tranny/gear shop and let him deal with. I just did my HG but really don't feel like working on my truck again... LOL.. I figure I will install a new bearing while I am in there as well. My truck is 212,000 so I am sure bearings are next....
