The simple reason I answered as i did was his simple request; He does not indicate use. Had he stated he wanted to build it into a quarter-mile rig or the like, I may have mentioned more about an automatic's potential. Since he didn't it's safe to assume it's a daily driver. Since he hasen't replied back, it's even safer to assume that.

Just understand - the NV4500 is not a sports car tranny at all...

 

yes and thanks for every ones 2 cents worth so far ws looking for a daley driver or at least in sumer months i have a 97 4x4 5 speed i love it but can only find autos in 2 wds just wondered if that will work and hold up in these wv mountains theres a man in ravenswood wv who is verry good on bulding autos fro a little under 2k sounds like best thing to do is take the trany to him for a rebuild first thing sure do wish ford had the cummings first thanks wes
