Sold my 2000 last week and I need to find a new truck fast. looking for a 96-98 2500 extra cab 4x4 5 speed. Theres nothing I'm interested in on auto trader or on here. Just wondering if anyone has one forsale or has seen anything sitting at a car lot.



BTW... if anyone has seen the red 98 12 valve quadcab 4x4 5 speed on autotrader.com for 18900$ that is located in PA dont waste your time looking at it I drove 200 miles to look at it and it was a piece of crap someone tried to repaint it and didnt do a very good job and the rest of the truck was ruff for only having 82,000 miles

 

You could also check out www.auto-rv.com. They have alot of diesels in the Ohio area, alot more then autotrader. Check it out.

I just did a quick search and found a couple 97 ext. cabs in ohio for around 15K.

 

I'm looking for the same thing, except a 3500. It's rough out there right now. Very few decent trucks out there that are that old.

Sure, I've found plenty with well over 150,000 miles on them. But no thanks

 

i wouldn't worry about the miles, just how well they are taken care of. mine has 250k on it and runs great. i keep bumping the power and it is starting to get me worried about poping the headgasket.

 

Check out these guys. Ive never bought from them, nor am I endorsing them. However, they do seem to have a pretty good selection of diesel trucks and they sell cheap which gives them a high turn over rate.

There is a green one ton 98 quad cab 4x4 5 speed with under 100k miles that is for sale in Bonham TX at the Dodge dealership. I am not interisted in Green. Jim

emailed them Friday and by the time they got back to me this morning it was already sold.

And I know why. They only wanted $14999 for it!! That is amazing. It only had 91,000 miles.

To even get NEAR $15k around here a truck must have like 130k miles on it and be over 6 years old.

You have to search around the site alittle. Then are catagorized as what the people put them in as, so you have to look around. Look under ram, ram 2500, 2500, 3/4 ton, ... Do an advanced search. It may take a while to find one, but they are there.
