Airdog or not?

My brother had an 08 3500, which he just sold (needed the money). He had purchased an Airdog 100 for it, but never had it installed. So, he asked if I want it. I wouldn't buy one, because I just put a new mechanical lift pump on mine, and am running close to stock, but he is giving it to me (I've done ALL his maintenance for years, so I've earned it). Is there enough reason to install the Airdog now, or would you wait until the lift pump needs replacing, and do it then? Thoughts? I have 75 horse injectors and have slid the fuel plate forward, but that's it.

The mechanical pump will easily support 500 hp and is far more reliable than any electric pump on the market.
Sell it to a 24 valve guy who really does need it.
