98 No blue wire to Fuel Shutoff Solenoid relay

My 98 12v does not have a "blue" wire leaving the positive terminal of my battery.

I was going to install a 65amp fusible link, to protect the fuel solenoid (relay) but only have 2 black wires off the terminal, which look like fusible links but I'm not sure what they go to.

I guess there could be a fuse in my fusebox, if so, then that provides all the protection I need?

Or what? trying to get some preventative maintenance done and
I'm stumped by this...

Is there somewhere else I should check, and since there's no blue wire,
is there something I could still do to protect the relay?

The 98's were different due to the release of the 24V engine later in the year. I don't recall the power source, but I believe its a fused relay instead of the blue wire..

So does that mean I'm already protected, don't need to worry about
overload circuit causing damage to the relay?
(if thats even what happens, my lingo is poor and my true understanding no better)

Pop the door off your fuse panel in the dash, I found a blue wire coming out of there heading under the dash, never did chase it to see if its for the shut off solenoid or not. Some say that there is a fuse labeled Spare in the PDC, but that would still need to be a 70A fuse, not sure if they make one that large in the typical auto style fuses.

Email me, Danavilla@msn.com and I'll send you a copy of the '98 wiring diag. for the fuel shutoff.
