98 auto transfer case on a 47rh- will it work?

98 auto transfer case on a 47rh- will it work?

friend is looking to buy a 47rh and has a transfer case from a 98 auto truck, should be able to use the tcase on the 47rh right? thanks in advance

The 98's don't have a speedo sensor in the transfer case tail housing, not sure if that will be a problem for his application or not. The tail housing can be found for relatively cheap from a junkyard, 1/2 ton t-cases I THINK have the same tail housing as long as the 241 is not an HD.

its a 1999 24v with a 97 12v in the truck and the transfer case does in fact work. Electronics for trans were removed prior to my installation of trans and NSS is bypassed.
