98 3500 tierod kit questions?
got the Rotors, Calipers and pads new for the front of my truck sitting in the floorboard. Before I put em on I want to change out all the tie rod ends, linkage sway bar etc.. on the front end. I've seen the kits on Ebay ahnd they are well priced. But I wanted to ask you guys if you would go that route? Or if you could point me in some other directions. The trucks got 195,000 miles on her so it's time. everything but the tracking bar in the front is original. thanks

If the truck wander or you find your self constantly correcting your direction i would. I would also look at one of the 2nd gen steering box supports, help stiffen things up. Just got done replacing drag link and track bar on mine after 321K. They have been bad since about 270K. the tie rod ends are still good amazingly enough.

Look it over good, the 98/99 trucks had a different steering linkage, and they are much beefier than the rest of the years.
If you get them, I recommend rock auto, I converted Brownie for right at 400 bucks for all of it, with Moog stuff.
