Steering adjustment
Yes you can use the screw to remove (some) of the play. Make the adjustments 1/2 turn at a time. Going too far will cause the steering gear to bind and not return to center. Makes the truck really hard to drive.
This wont take the slack out all of the wear in the box, but it will tighten it up considerably. OH yeah... your steering wheel will turn slightly to the right as the screw is turned in.
