97 Diesel 5 speed 455,000 kl
Hi Everyone,
I just bought my first Dodge. I paid $3,000 cdn for it. It is a reg. cab 12 valve 5 speed 455 Kl from the second owner, he bought it from the dealership with 20K on it. Body is pretty good with not too much rust. Needs a clutch which is being done today.
Is that a decent buy? I know too late as I own it now but anyways.? I hope that is all it needs for awhile. Motor is/seems solid running.
Thanks for reading.

Why the clutch is/was totally shot as it was the original I was told.
I expect to pick it up from the shop today with the new fact. spec clutch and p/p, etc..
I am hoping to not spend a small fortune on it getting her back in good shape. Will see already a couple other small leaks that need to be done as well but kinda expected to spend some more $$ on it. I also need to clean the engine bay as the owner was one that did not like to clean under the hood. Pretty oiled up. I like to have a clean engine bay to catch things early and do maintenance easier.
O_well thanks for the reply.

Seems like a good buy.
Those 5 speeds are rugged and hard to find.
