Glad you have a happy truck again! Ya, i had a sneakin' suspission these pumps came with the extra threads. I think it's because they're worried about damaging the threads in the pump. Its pretty soft compared to the heli-threads they stuck in there....

So I’m having the same issue with my 98 it has a high output fuel pump on frame so I’m seeing, where this puts me compared to these issues?

This is a pretty old thread to ask questions on....

Do you have a 12V or 24V?

What sort of fuel pressure is this 'high output" fuel pump running?

12v, I’m not sure of the fuel pressure

Do you know if the HO pump is even working?
Things like a blown fuse, bad electric motor, ETC can cause them to not work.

I personally hate those electronic HO pumps, They tend to be very unreliable.

The factory cam driven LP tends to last 300,000+ miles and supply plenty of fuel for 400+ HP.
