96 fuel pressure check ??s
OK... I need to check the fuel pressure on my 96. The service manual calls for an adapter to replace the banjo bolt on the fuel filter assembly. But, I can't seem to locate one of these adapters. Anyone know where to get one or have another idea? I was told to drill & tap the banjo bolt for 1/8 npt but will probably destroy the banjo bolt in the process. My other thought was to put a tee in the line between the filter and injection pump.

Go to your local fuel shop and by the banjo fitting. And then drill it out as you have posted, then you can add your gauge and check your fuel psi. When your done just reinstall the one you took out.
My fuel psi gauge is connected this way but I have a needle valve
off of the banjo to act as a snubber.
