My rollback has a 5.9 cummins B motor Can antone tell me about the star wheel adjustment and turning up the pump for more power??? Also i have a overheating problem. Overheats the further you drive. Slowly creeps up. When left to idle,it comes down. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Gil

 

Wait a minute............... your truck has a heating problem and YOU want to crank the
juice to it????




I will keep my opinion on the juice to myself since I have already killed 3 5.9ers all by lonesome.

 

I have an FL60 at work.. Had an overheating problem and at the same time there was an air his and the Airbrake tank would loose presure overnight.. I am by no means an experts on these trucks but I was told that the fan clutch is air operated and that it was failing causing an air leak... they replaced the Fan clutch and the airbrakes are holding pressure and the truck runs cool again.. As far as the Lift pump.. Only thing I know about it is they have to replace it about once a year... The truck doesnt get many miles on it but is runs 6 hours or so a day at 1,200 to 1,800 RPM's with a PTO Compressor and Backhoe.
