I filled it up yesterday morning, then let it sit until just a few minutes ago. When I started it the same thign occurred, after 20 second it began running rough then cut off. Was a pain to restart, and put out lots of gray smoke when I did get it started. The smoke sleared right up as the engine smoothed out. I guess I need to go forward with the fuel pressure test.

Today I blazed out of the driveway a little faster than usual to try and blow the problem out, but it died going down the hill in 2nd....but since it is a steep hill, the truck just kind of kept pushing the engine around until it responded to my increased throtle and we continued on.

Gotta get a pressure guage in there and some kind of clear section to inspect for air so I can see what is going on.

today it was worse.. It died in the driveway, and needed to be cranked, twice, ran rough and then like a switch was turned on, it ran perfectly.

Does anyone have the fix yet?

P.S. the guy who shold the truck to me made sure to give me a bottle of diesel 911, maybe I should start using it.
