I got my truck back today. I had it at the local diesel shop because it originally blew white smoke above like 2000 rpm. They told me that the set the timing but apparently the dynamic piston doesn't work very well. They keep saying the pump will have to be rebuilt. I've heard of people having these symptoms before. Is there anything i can do to make it work better until i get the money for an overhaul of the pump? I know there are shims and 1 or 2 springs between the ksb and the piston.
