i'm pushin 350 hp with what I have, and the fuel plate is stock. sliding the fuel plate forward give more fuel and I dump black smoke EVERYWHERE, would it do the same thing if i got a more agressive fuel plate or would it act differently?

 

I have the 10 plate installed on my 95 ram and I have yet to move it from the stock position. Just how far should I move the plate and what else should I do to give me more pulling power on the hills.My egts on hills now are 1000. If I move the plate will my egts go up to where I should watch the gauge? What way do I move the star wheel,I would like a base line to start at ? I`am looking at a PATC trans up grade and would like to have just a little more towing power lol.
