maybe not related to this site but was hoping to get some thoughts. looking at a 5 ton truck with a 8.3 cumins with 380,000 kms no one knows how it was serviced as usuall. with luck can that motor last quite a bit longer or is that getting to the end of its life>

 

380,000km is usually fine on a maintained engine, but idle/run time is another thing that needs to be looked at, you will just have to use your judgement on how healthy the engine is or get it checked out by a reputable shop.
