6th cylinder

Hey folks!

im planning on replacing my valve cover gaskets, the 6th cylinder looks like it won’t clear the cowl panel (2nd gen) anyone done this? Any tips?

It will come out, unless the mounting of the engine has been somehow altered. I have pulled all my valve covers multiple times over the years. Just try not to bring it up any higher than you have to in order to clear the valvetrain - so you don't knock any more dust than necessary off the underside of the cowl.

I usually drape a plastic bag over the valve cover to avoid getting dirt into the engine.
