518 Trans. Question ?
I have a question on the trans. with the truck in my sig. it seems to me when I accelerate it upshifts way to soon. Then even as low as 50 mph. if I floor it, it will not downshift. Is this just a kickdown linkage adjustment or do I have other problems ? It won't even come out of overdrive unless I push the OD button !

make sure the TV (kick down) cable is not binding, or bound. If it's stuck in an advanced position it will not downshift....
Could also be the accumulator I think.
